Ranger and Paladin casting

Seeing as they're the notable exceptions to the use of the whole Mana system, I am curious as to why these two in particular? They always seemed to me like the ones in most need of a boost to their casting capabilities, Ranger especially.

I decided to keep their spells as abilities, rather than full-on spells. They don't get very many spells to begin with, so they don't really need all those slots. It was my decision from a mechanical and a balance perspective.

so, to clarify, this means they'll be Use/day abilities that you gain automatically rather than from a spell list, or they're still on the spell list but they'll be using the vanilla system instead?

I've decided to use mana for paladin, ranger, and blackguard. This completes the spells full circle.
