Real Life Equivalents - Countries and Settlements

Below is a list of locations that follow a sort of standard. They can be attributed to real life locales, to a degree, or to locales that existed in history. You may use the listed locations as a backstory location for your character, if you wish. You can also just say your character doesn't remember. There are In Character options for such -- see The Fog.

This list is still being compiled, and names may be changed or added at any time.

On the Thessir continent:

Icefjell - Vikings, Norse, The Frozen North, Barbaric Wastes.
The Araakan Wastelands - Turkish, Arabic, Saharan Desert, Desert Nomads, Babylon
The Seidh Forest - High Elf Woods, where High Elves live.

Outside the Thessir continent:

The Brightwoods - Middle Ages Britain, but a lot more forested.

It would be cool for the wasteland to have a Mad Max vibe. With Punky tribes fighting over some resource (water? or some old energy resource?).
