Are there any monster spawns in Thessir? I've been playing almost an hour have not seen a single creature.

No, spawns haven't been implemented yet, but there will be implemented some spawns hopefully within the next few days. Right now we're working out some kinks and bugs, before implementing them. (And questlines after that) We do realize spawns will be needed to create a fun game for all, don't worry, just have a tiny bit of patience with us, please.
